The 50 Shades of Grey movie has everyone buzzing and it’s still over a year away! Despite that, people want to know who will bring the steamy novels to life on the big screen and if they can make the story seem as sexy as the Christian Grey.

There’s a lot of names being thrown around — Channing Tatum, Jake Pavelka, Ian Somerhalder, Ryan Gosling etc etc. But who are the leading contenders as of right now?

Channing Tatum and Ian Somerhalder have both expressed interest, as has Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale, who would love to play Anastasia Steele. But will any of them fit the role?

“I’m speechless. I think every girl on the carpet wants to play Anastasia Steele,” Lucy explained.

Of course all of these actors — and any others who might want a role in 50 Shades of Grey — will have to audition and hopefully the best ones will get the part. But, who do you think should be in the top seven? Do you have a list of your favorites?
